She spent four years with Alopecia UK previously developing resources to support people through the emotional side of hair loss.
Professor Mohammad Jafferany
Professor Mohammad Jafferany is a Professor of Psychodermatology, Psychiatry, and Behavioral Sciences at Central Michigan University.
He is a pioneer in the discipline of psychotrichology—the study of the psychiatric aspects of hair disorders—and serves as President of the Association for Psychocutaneous Medicine of North America and Chairperson of World Psychodermatology Day.

Professor Andrew G. Messenger
Professor Andrew Messenger is a dermatologist who specializes in hair disorders at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Sheffield Children’s Hospital before retiring from clinical practice in 2020. Professor Messenger was president of the European Hair Research Society from 2004 to 2006, and was the president of the Institute of Trichologists for 17 years since 2009. He chaired the World Congress for Hair Research in 2013, and though he’s no longer seeing patients, he remains actively involved in clinical trials and research, with ongoing ties to Alopecia UK.

Dr. Grace Quan is a dermatologist and Associate Chief Physician at United Family Healthcare Shanghai, specializing in skin conditions including acne, rosacea, hair loss, and allergic skin disease. With over 20 years of clinical experience and a Master of Medicine from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, she previously served at Shanghai Tongren Hospital and is published in the Chinese Journal of Dermatology.
